Our History

General Traffic Controls was founded in 1977 in Spencer, Iowa, and began designing, selling, and servicing traffic signal equipment. As business developed, GTC has continued to hire passionate and dedicated team members and continues to grow. GTC currently provides sales, service, technical support, and training to cities, counties, states, electrical contractors, and consultants.

Our Territory

We provide service to the Midwest Region, which includes Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota.

We are a family-owned company focused on great customer service, with a knowledgeable team who delivers quality products.
